Τα πέντε τους, ως ενεργά μέλη για πάνω από 6 χρόνια της εγχώριας -και μη-  folk / traditional σκηνής, με πολυάριθμα ταξίδια σε εξωτερικό και σημαντικές συνεργασίες εντός και εκτός συνόρων, είναι στην ευχάριστη θέση να ανακοινώσουν την έκδοση του 1ου album τους.

Το Folk is Rock αρχίζει και παίρνει σάρκα και οστά! Είναι ενα project ενορχηστρωμένο στο αστικό περιβάλλον των Αθηνών, εμπνευσμένο όμως από τις προσωπικές εμπειρίες του καθενός μας. Σκοποί & τραγούδια, έθιμα και τελετουργίες, πανηγύρια και αυτοσχέδια γλέντια της Ελλάδας του χθες, αποτυπώνονται σε ένα μουσικό ψηφιδωτό στο σήμερα.

Η στήριξή σας αποτελεί σημαντική βοήθεια στα έξοδα της συνολικής παραγωγής. Ηχογραφήσεις, μίξεις, μάστερινγκ, γραφιστικές ανάγκες και τυπώματα είναι τα βασικά βήματα μέχρι να φτάσει στα χέρια σας στις αρχές του 2022.

Οι παγκόσμιες συνθήκες και συγκυρίες δύσκολες και απρόβλεπτες. Ο στόχος εμφανής και το Folk is Rock πιο έτοιμο από ποτέ να ξεχυθεί και να βρει τον δρόμο του στην παγκόσμια folk σκηνή. Γίνετε και εσείς αρωγοί και κερδίστε πλούσια δώρα από τη συλλογή μας!

Hi everyone!

 

Welcome to Pentaichon’s crowd funding page and thank you in advance for your help and interest in our work.

Being active members of the Greek and international folk/traditional stage for more than 6 years and after numerous musical trips and collaborations in Greece and abroad, all five of us are thrilled to announce our upcoming first album.

“Folk is Rock” is turning into a reality. It’s a project arranged in the urban environment of Athens, but it is inspired by our personal experiences. Melodies and songs, customs and rituals, fairs and improvised celebrations are depicted as a musical mosaic of our times. 

 

Your support is extremely important to us, as it will partly cover the expenses of the production. The recordings, the mixing, the mastering, the graphic design and the printing process are the basic procedures that have to be followed until our album is released in the beginning of 2022.

Current circumstances in today’s world are for sure difficult and unpredictable. Our goal is obvious and “Folk is Rock” stands more than ever ready to spew out and follow its own path on the global folk stage. Become a crowdfunder and get special gifts from our collection!
